MY WORK & CONTRIBUTION

Worked on a small team of 3-5 people to do quick prototyping and prepare a demo for GDC 2022.  During this project, I’ve been working on the following:
 

  • Gamepad Integration

I integrated gamepad support to the entire UIs of the game. This was done to make the build compatible with Microsoft Xbox Series X for GDC 2022.
 

  • UI-Related Bug Fixes

Carried out a bunch of UI-oriented bug fixes (such as integrating bullets with the UI, the type of gun being used, etc, for the player HUD).
 

  • Architecture Design for RTS (Real Time Strategy)

Planned, brainstormed and created an architecture for a new mode called RTS or Real-Time Strategy. This involved planned server client communication and how strategic moves would translate on a global real-time map.
