MY WORK & CONTRIBUTION

Developed a High Fidelity Experience for NFT collectibles and expanded that into a metaverse.

  • Async Level Loading

Level loading is completely asynchronous. Streaming Levels are used to ensure smooth transition between levels, and hitches are not experienced during the said transition.
 

  • Login System

The Backend is completely integrated with FCVD, to ensure seamless updates between the back-end server and PC client.
 

  • Inventory System (Spawn/Remove) (3D, 3DA, 2D, 2DA) - FanCave + TerraDome (Talk about DLCs)

The Inventory system is very unique. You can download any NFT/DLC and its download state and percentage persists even if the menu is re-opened. There are 4 types of DLCs in this experience: 3D Animated, 3D, 2D Animated, 2D. The DLC System is completely developed from the ground-up, and there is an entire separate pipeline for distributing those DLC Assets to the game (without sending out builds, of course).
 

  • Room Interactions

Record Player: Turns a 2D Music On/Off

TV Remote: Toggles with different movie trailers on the TV
3DA Avatars: Animates the selected Avatar towards the stand, and plays its animation
Wall Frames: Opens the UI to place a specific poster (2D/2DA) on the selected frame
 

 

  • Screenshot System

The Screenshot System gives you a whole bunch of different settings to customize the Camera Parameters. After taking a 4K screenshot, you can view the screenshot in game as well as in the game folder.
 

  • Customization

The customization System works similar to the DLC System. You can download a bunch of different Walls, Floors, Sofas, etc and customize your room however you want to.
 

  • Persistence

All the above mentioned functionalities change the state of the experience for the user. The user experience is very smooth when the user quits the application and returns back to find all his placeables and customizations exactly as he left them.
